Harrowing and humorous and also helpful ... Hear my experiences before, during, and after getting my California Driver's license in my twenties! 🙃🤣👍

Linda Lou and Molly discuss Linda's 30 year career in technical writing and outplacement services and how she leveraged her experiences into writing a successful book "How to Find a Job that won't crush your soul" with insightful advice and humor. Linda shares how she turned to becoming a comedian during a dark period in her life (although she used to send in jokes to Johnny Carson when she was 9!) and wrote a successful book "Bastard Husband: A Love Story." Enjoy the great chemistry between Molly & Linda and their confidence that stems from doing a great job so they don't have to "play the game" to advance.

Molly refers to Gene DeLibero's article about a bartender's innate skills in the end to end customer experience. Cheryl relates how she rebounded from a layoff and moved into a successful insurance sales career, overcoming the discomfort of cold calling to pivot to her strengths in customer experience.

Focusing on excellence, Cheryl won all 5 awards in her rookie years - surpassing her expectations.  She was also the #1 agent in Los Angeles, closing 29 accounts.

Listen to some animated discussions between Molly and Kam on how they managed change in their marketing careers and why print is still important even in a digtal age. Set in Molly's home bar with the Toby Keith song "I Love this Bar" playing in the background, you'll enjoy their chat and even learn how to adapt.

Listen to the two parts where Janice and Molly talk about their experiences in omnichannel marketing in the pharmaceuticals industry which requires managing risk while managing projects. Their camaraderie is infectious - while Molly is focusing on asking Janice to explain her road from different industries to finally settling in pharma, Janice even asks Molly to describe her experiences. And you may even yearn to grab yourself a Pina Colada and escape to a successful career in marketing.
